Health and Justice

We deliver innovative and patient-led primary care services in secure environments - including prisons, hospitals, youth offender institutes and short-term holding facilities.

Spectrum is the largest provider of healthcare within health and justice estates across the North of England.

Our portfolio is made up of an impressive 16 prisons, a short-term holding facility, and a secure hospital. At these sites, we lead on a range of services – including nursing and GP primary care, pharmacy services, mental health, clinical/non-clinical substance misuse services, and so much more.

If you’re up for a big challenge with extremely rewarding results, then prison healthcare may be right for you!

NHSE commissions Spectrum to deliver primary care services within a number of prisons across the North of England. Spectrum is a value-based organisation that strives to deliver quality care for patients and also provides a supportive working environment for their staff. COVID-19 created additional challenges - but throughout those challenging times, Spectrum worked hard to maintain safe care for our vulnerable clients.
