Equality and Diversity

At Spectrum, we strongly believe that all our employees should be treated fairly and equally to others, regardless of individual differences.

We aim to shape all our practices to ensure that our organisation is free from discrimination, harassment, and victimisation.

We celebrate diversity by understanding differences; the Spectrum Race Equality Network (SREN) represents the interests of ethnic minority staff and ensures that colleagues are not disadvantaged by policies or procedures. The network looks at a range of race inequality issues in the workplace, in order to co-create solutions and approaches to tackle them.

Our new Spectrum Lived Experience Network (SLEN) brings together staff with experience of any social issues or factors – including mental ill health, substance misuse, trauma, caring duties, the care system or justice system. This network builds on Spectrum’s ambition to become a lived experience inclusive employer, supporting our current and future workforce and recognising the value of lived experience.
